A company which makes concrete stairs has been fined for safety failings after four employees fell when a stair mould collapsed at the firm.
The workers, who do not wish to be named, suffered injuries including bruising, a dislocated shoulder, a fractured right arm, a twisted ankle and knee and back pain following the incident at Milbank Concrete Products in August.
They have all since returned to work.
The company, based in Lancaster Way at Earls Colne Business Park Airfield in Earls Colne, was prosecuted by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) on Tuesday after an investigation found the stair mould was inadequately supported during the work.
