Tasty tipples were on tap as Halstead Cricket Club hosted its seventh annual beer festival.

Visitors by the barrel-load rolled into the three-day event, from last Saturday to Monday, at the Star Stile cricket ground in Sudbury Road.

As well as a wide selection of beers, ales and ciders, visitors could also enjoy local cricket matches, including HCC 2nd XI v Clacton on Saturday, HCC U13 v Sudbury U13 and HCC Friendly XI v Chelmer Vets on Sunday and Piri Piri 1st XI v High Easter on Monday.

See this week's Halstead Gazette for the full story and a picture special.
