A cottage destroyed in a fire will have a new lease of life after being bought by a group of friends.
The house, in Long Gardens, Twinstead, had its roof destroyed after a fire ripped through it and the house next to it in August last year. Thankfully, the house was empty and no-one was injured, but it has been left in its fire-damaged state since.
The cottage was bought in November by four friends, the Reverend Gay Ellis and her husband, Nick, and Tony and Ellie Phipps, who intend to return it to its former glory.
