The Colne Valley Railway has celebrated a busy weekend.
More than 100 Brownies from across North Essex descended onto the railway, in Castle Hedingham, for part of their centenary celebrations.
On Sunday, the railway held its second Miniature Engineering Day, with miniature traction engines visiting the railway.
There were different gauge models, as well as some 7 1/4 inch and 5 inch engines giving rides and displays of Meccano.
The railway has many events up coming, including Day out with Thomas in June.
