Immerse yourself in nature with two open gardens this weekend.
Peppers Farm, Forrey Green, a half acre country garden set high on a quiet rural green with farmland views, features flowering shrubs, fruit, specimen trees, as well as an alpine scree and a spring fed pond.
The garden will be open to the public on Sunday from 2pm until 5pm. Admission is £3.50, with children going free. There will be home made teas available.
The second garden, Rookwoods, Yeldham Road, will be open on Monday. This tranquil garden has mature and young trees and shrubs, as well as herbaceous borders with columns of tumbling roses. Visitors are invited to wander through the meadow of buttercups to an ancient oak wood and then enjoy tea relaxing under a wisteria.
The garden is open 11.30am until 4.30pm. Admission is £4, with children going free. The garden will also be open on June 1.
