Almost £20,000 of diesel has been stolen from a farm in Sturmer.
Thieves broke into one of the farm buildings in Bumpstead Road last Wednesday, by jemmying open the metal roller shutter door.
Once inside, they syphoned about 100 litres of diesel, worth £18,900, from a Bateman crop sprayer by unscewing the metal petrol cap.
Chemicals were also removed from within the building.
