A mum fears she will have to cancel a family holiday after heartless thieves stole her 19-month-old son’s pram.
Laura Jeggo first discovered son Stanley’s beige and black Oyster pushchair, bought for £800, had been taken from under a stairwell a communal area outside her flat in Elizabeth Way, Halstead, on Tuesday morning.
Miss Jeggo, 26, and her son were due to go on holiday to Center Parcs next month but she fears that will now have to be cancelled.
She said: “I’d saved to go on holiday but now we’ve got to use that money to buy a new pushchair.
“Being a single mum, it’s taken me months and months to get enough money to be able to go and now we aren’t going to be able to.”
An Essex Police spokesman confirmed the theft had been reported and officers were investigating.
