A frustrated golf club greenkeeper is waiting for a tree to be removed from a river six months after it fell.
The willow tree fell into the river at Colne Valley Golf Club, in Earls Colne, on October 10.
But despite numerous requests by the course’s head greenkeeper Gavin Steed, the Environment Agency insists removing the tree is not its responsibility.
Mr Steed said: “I am getting so hacked off with it.
“It is blocking the river and it is getting ridiculous."
