Roadside kerbs could be introduced to stop vehicles causing damage to a village green.
Parish councillors in White Colne believe the village green is being damaged by HGVs cutting corners.
A survey costing £3,000 has taken place on proposals to install kerbing along Colneford Hill and Colne Park Road.
Braintree Council’s highways panel will vote on whether to allocate £18,500 to the project at a meeting on Thursday.
