POLICE have released these photographs of jewellery believed to have been stolen during burglaries in Essex.
The were recovered from a grey Ford Kuga car which was stolen from Hillary Mount in Billericay on February 11.
Officers believe that it was fitted with false plates and may have been used during the course of further burglaries in Essex.
The car was found abandoned in Rainham, Havering, on March 6 after a local resident became suspicious and reported to police that the registration on the tax disc was different to the number plates.
A large LCD television which was found in the car has already been identified and returned to the rightful owner in the Chelmsford.
Anyone who recognises any of the items in these photos should contact the investigating officer Pc Wayne Callaghan at Basildon CID on 101.
