The Halstead 21st Century group opposes development on land east of the High Street
A convoy of military vehicles will pass through Halstead tomorrow in support a campaign to protect green spaces in the town.
The vehicles will enter the town centre at 11.30am, before stopping in the car park of The Griffin pub, in Parsonage Street, for a meet and greet session.
The Halstead 21st Century group is campaigning to prevent development on land east of the High Street, a former Courtauld factory site which includes 16 wartime air shelters.
The group also opposes the proposed allocation of a picnic field area in New Street for affordable housing.
