The final countdown has started and runners, walkers and joggers are pulling on their trainers for Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile.
An event is being held at The Essex Golf and Country Club, in Earls Colne, on Sunday as part of the fundraiser and will take place around the World War Two Air Field.
It is set to be a brilliant day and all the money raised will be going towards the national fundraising effort, which will help people living unimaginably tough lives across the UK and in some of the world’s poorest countries.
Participants can choose their own distance, from 1, 3 or 6 miles, and can complete it in any way they fancy.
From teeny tots with their mums and dads, to super sprinters up against the clock, there’s something for everyone on the big day.
As well as the main event there will be a bouncy castle and food stalls.
