Two men have been charged by police after a man was assaulted with a metal bar.
Stephen Cooper, 53, and Robert Cooper, 24, both of White Horse Avenue, Halstead, are charged with causing actual bodily harm and two accounts of criminal damage each.
The victim, a man in his 20s from Halstead, received hand injuries as a result of the attack, which happened in the Parsonage Street area on November 29 last year.
Both suspects have been bailed to appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court on April 1.
