There were none of the usual problems finding Wally as hundreds of school pupils dressed up as the character to celebrate World Book Day.
Children and staff from all 14 classes at Richard de Clare, in Parsonage Street, Halstead, wore the renowned red and white stripes commonly associated with the main character from Martin Handford’s ‘Where’s Wally?’ books.
As well as dressing up, the youngsters also took part in reading activities and enjoyed a book fair as part of the event.
