“I fear the next car is going to land in my kitchen," says homeowner

A fed-up homeowner has recorded 21 accidents outside his house in the space of just three years.

Builder Eddie Brown, 49, has been keeping a log of incidents on the accident blackspot on the A131 at Bulmer Tye.

On Saturday morning, a woman had to be cut free from her car after it overturned outside the Bulmer Fox pub.

Mr Brown, who has lived at his home for two years after building it himself, said: “Saturday’s accident was the 21st that has either come into mine or my neighbour’s properties in three years.

“It has been an ongoing joke with my friends. My hedge is absolutely peppered with holes where cars have come through and it is not getting any better.

“I fear the next car is going to land in my kitchen and my neighbours are scared to let the children play in the garden.”
