We've recentl;y had to endure several months of speed restrictions, lane closures, contraflows and overnight closures whilst they repaired the bridge that was hit by a crane (on slip Northbound at Hatty Pev).

Couldn't they have done the work referred to above at the same time?

Absolutely 100% agree, why the various agencies involved in such work can't co-ordinate closures in order to minimise disruption is beyond me... I am well and truly sick of it, as must be the residents of Boreham and Hatfield Peverel who I am sure must see a marked increase in traffic and noise caused by a signifcant increase in traffic volumes travelling through their villages during these periods of closure.
