A garden wall which was felled by storm damage is still blocking a road three weeks on.
The wall at Pye Corner in Castle Hedingham collapsed when power cables fell during storms on February 7.
But the bricks at the corner of Nunnery Street and Bayley Street are yet to be removed, causing problems for drivers on a tight bend.
Parish clerk Claire Waters said: “The householder is waiting for an insurance claim and we have contacted Highways again.
“It is quite dangerous and someone has already crashed into one of the warning signs.
“It has not been sorted but there is nothing more we can do.”
Engineers from UK Power Networks attended the scene to remove the fallen cables within days of the storm, but were unable to deal with the wall.
An Essex Highways spokesman said: “Essex Highways are aware of this local concern.
“A section of the private wall has fallen into the highway following the recent spell of adverse weather conditions.
“Essex Highways have arranged for the bricks to be removed from the highway as soon as possible.”
