Halstead's most dedicated marathon runner is limbering up again this year.
Semi-retired bricklayer Terry Rivers, 68, of Harvey Street, will be tackling his 22nd London marathon, totalling 75 marathons altogether.
Mr Rivers will be raising money for St Helena Hospice and hopes to hit his usual sum of about £1,500.
He said: “The people of Halstead and the shops are very generous.
“They sponsor me year after year."
