A Braintree woman is celebrating a lottery win after recently being made redundant.
Rosalind Highwood, 51, won £10,000 on the Health Lottery after matching four of her regular numbers as well as the bonus ball.
She said: “Having recently won £60 on The Health Lottery I decided to play a few extra lines, never thinking for one minute that my numbers might come up.
“This win couldn’t have come at a better time in our lives.
“Since I have recently been made redundant we have really been struggling financially."
The Health Lottery helps raise money to support local health charities and projects and has already raised more than £1million for projects in Essex alone, funding dozens of projects in the area through Community Interest Company Health Strength.
