There is something for book lovers of all ages at this year’s Essex Book Festival.

Authors are heading to events all around the county to celebrate the festival and meet readers.

Natasha Cooper will be speaking about the work of Dorothy L. Sayers at Witham Library in Newland Street on March 6.

Author Louise Welsh will be at Braintree Library on March 25 to speak about her new book A Lovely Way to Burn, from 7.30pm.

There will also be sessions for younger readers to enjoy with the popular Beast Quest series, run by Just Imagine, visiting the Braintree Arts Theatre next Saturday with the best selling series of books for six to ten year olds.

Youngsters will get a sneaky peak at Adam Blade’s new series Sea Quest and will be invited to join the good wizard Aduro to solve puzzles.
