A new exhibition will be held by a painter at the gallery he used to own with his wife.
Wladyslaw Mirecki will be holding his exhibition of watercolours “just as it is” at the Chappel Galleries, which he used to co-own with his wife until 2010 when the couple decided to close the business to allow Wladyslaw to concentrate on his art work.
The artist, who was awarded a £6,000 second prize in the Sunday Times Watercolour Exhibition, will be showing his work, which includes paintings of woodland, seascapes and the Chappel viaduct, back at the gallery in Colchester Road, Chappel, throughout March.
There will be an opening day held at the gallery on Saturday between noon and 5pm, with wine and beer served.
All the works in the exhibition will also be available for sale.
The exhibition finishes on March 30 at 5pm.
The gallery will be open every day for the duration of the exhibition between 10am and 5pm or by appointment.
