WITH the rain pouring down and the wind blowing everything in its path away, it is sometimes difficult to get up the motivation to exercise.

But the horrible weather needn’t stop you fulfilling your New Year’s Resolutions or “get fit” routine.

The newly refurbished Halstead Leisure Centre is holding an indoor Winter Triathlon this Sunday  to get everyone involved in trying out the new facilities.

See how far you can swim, cycle and run in 20 minute bursts while getting fit and raising money for charity at the same time.

There will be ten minute breaks in between each activity.

Prizes will be on offer for the top achieving men and women and for the person who raises the most money, which will go to children’s charity Action for Children.

Entry is £10, with a minimum sponsorship amount of £30.

To enter, pick up a registration form at Halstead Leisure Centre, or call Lyndsay Wood on 01284 755953 for more information.
