The singing careers of primary pupils hit a high note when they performed at London’s O2 arena with X Factor’s Stacey Soloman.
School choirs from across the district joined 7,000 other pupils from schools across the UK at the arena to take part in one of five giant school concerts with Stacey Soloman.
The ambitious musical project was organised by Young Voices to get young people to experience the joys of music.
40 children from St Andrews, in Halstead, 36 children from St Giles Primary School, in Church Street, Great Maplestead, and 20 children from De Vere Primary School, in Kirby Hall Road, Castle Hedingham, performed at the O2 on January 27.
Members of Holy Trinity Primary School’s choir took part in a concert on January 28.
