A cardboard coffin created by a family business took centre stage at a TV soap funeral.
Millions of viewers tuned in to ITV last Friday to witness the funeral of popular Coronation Street character Hayley Cropper.
And the coffin created for Hayley’s low-key humanist ceremony was supplied by Ridgewell-based company Greenfield Creations.
William Hunneybell, who inherited the business from his father, was sworn to secrecy by show producers ahead of the episode’s broadcast.
