A Halstead food firm has been criticised for its role in a crash which left a baby fighting for her life.

A Peacock Foods lorry crashed into a car carrying 15-month-old Maisie Moon in September 2012.

Lorry driver Genrihs Kuplovs-Okinskis was this week jailed for nine months for dangerous driving.

But his former employers also came under fire from a judge.
