A exhibition on Masterworks from the Ford Collection will be shown at Gainsborough’s House in Sudbury.
The exhibition showcases paintings and drawings from the Ford family collection, representing more than a quarter of a century of collecting.
It was started by Benjamin Booth, (1731 - 1807), and continued by his grandson Richard Ford (1796 - 1858) and the renowned art historian and collector Sir Brinsley Ford (1900 - 1999).
Predominantly featured in the exhibition is work by18th century landscape artist Richard Wilson alongside work by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, Henry Fuseli and Orientalist artist John Frederick Lewis.
There is no additional charge for admission to this exhibition - it is included in the price of admission to Gainsborough's House.
