Aspiring gardeners may have finally located a potential site for village allotments.
The Sible Hedingham Allotment and Leisure Gardeners Association (SHALGA) has faced a long-running battle to find an appropriate site.
But the allotment group with no allotments is hopeful it has found a place for its green-fingered members.
A plot of land on the border of Sible Hedingham and neighbouring Castle Hedingham has been identified by SHALGA and parish councillors.
SHALGA chairman Steven Partridge said: “It is a private plot of land and it is being rated quite highly by the landowners so we are having it valued."
