A man has admitted hiding his dead wife’s body in a caravan.
David Parker, of Evans Court, Halstead, panicked when Jacky died because there was a restraining order in place stopping him contacting her, a court heard.
Police investigated her disappearance but didn’t find the body the first time they went to the caravan at a holiday park.
Parker, 50, allegedly lied to police and claimed his wife, 52, had gone on a cruise.
But officers found her body when they carried out a more thorough search - up to four days after she had died.
