Detectives are looking to reunite three pieces of jewellery with their rightful owners.

Officers arrested an 18-year-old man at his home in Halstead during the morning of Tuesday, January 7, and recovered a ring, necklace and ladies' bracelet which they believe were stolen during a burglary in the Braintree district.

The man was later released on police bail until Wednesday, March 12, pending their enquiries.

Investigating Officer, Dc Nick Campbell, said: "Despite our best efforts, we have yet to identify the owners of these items.

"We are keen to hear from those people who believe any of the property shown may belong to them or someone they know or love.

"Our enquiries suggest that people living throughout the Braintree district could potentially own these items.”

Anyone who believes the items shown belong to them should contact detectives at Braintree police station on 101.
