Singer Matt Cardle has thanked his fans for their support after reportedly entering rehab to tackle an alleged prescription drug addiction.
National newspaper reports this week have stated Matt, 30, started a 28-day programme at London’s Priory Clinic on Sunday.
On Tuesday, the Little Maplestead singer posted a picture of a handwritten note on his Twitter page.
He said: “I want to thank my fans for all your lovely messages of support.
“I’m getting myself better...I want to be ready to give it 110% on tour next year.
“I love you all and will see you on the other side.”
Matt is scheduled to start an 18-date tour of the UK and Ireland on April 12.
