If you like to blow away the cobwebs with a brisk walk over Christmas, then a new book will make the perfect stocking filler.
Recently released, Walking in Essex by Peter Aylmer, describes 25 coastal and inland day walks covering the whole of Essex.
Walks in Earls Colne, Coggeshall and Castle Hedingham feature in the book, which includes maps and colour photographs as well as detailed descriptions of each walk.
The book is now on sale, published by Cicerone, at a price of £12.95.
