Halstead: Police withness appeal after man was assaulted with metal bar
Police are appealling for witnesses after a man was assaulted with a metal bar.
The Halstead man, in his 20s, was attacked at around 1am on November 29 in the Parsonage Street, Evans Court area of Halstead.
The man's hand was injured and he had to be taken to hospital for treatment.
His mobile phone was also broken in the attack.
Any witnesses or anybody with any information is asked to call Braintree CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Two men, aged 23 and 53, and from Halstead have been arrested on suspicion of GBH and criminal damage in connection with this incident. They have been released on police bail until February 20.
