A mum has described how her “little miracle” is recovering well after the crash that left her with life threatening injuries.
Maisie Moon is now two-years-old and has made an amazing recovery after the Earls Colne crash a little over a year ago.
A court heard this week how a lorry driver, whose bread van was on the wrong side of the road, had collided with the car Maisie and her family were travelling in.
The toddler, who attends nursery one day a week, had to learn how to walk and talk again and it is unclear how much she remembers from before the collision.
Mrs Moon said: “She is doing very well, she has still got ongoing issues but that is the nature of the head injury.
“It is incredible really, she’s our little miracle.”
Earlier this week Gendrihs Kuplovs-Okinskis 44, pleaded guilty to driving dangerously on September 6 last year on the B1024 Coggeshall Road, Earls Colne.
