An arson attack victim is “living on edge” after the only suspect in her case was released without charge.
Police arrested a 43-year-old man in connection with a fire at Glenda Soames’ house in Mitchell Avenue on July 19, but he has now been allowed to walk free.
Mum-of-four Mrs Soames, who is separated, said: “I still look out of my window at night before I go to bed.
"It makes me worry because whoever did this is still out there.”
Mrs Soames and her family were asleep when a blaze began in the front garden and spread to the front of the house, causing one of the windows to explode and another to crack.
