A spy car can not arrive soon enough in the Halstead area, according to residents suffering with parking nightmares near schools.
The spy car, designed to catch rogue parking around schools, will be on the streets in January and has been welcomed by many.
Full-time mum Claire Cox, 29, of Halstead, said: “Richard de Clare needs this.
“There is constantly people parking alongside the tennis courts where yellow lines and no parking signs are visible.
“It makes walking along there extremely dangerous.”
Earls Colne resident Victoria Frankland said: “Earls Colne is sadly a serious accident waiting to happen - parents blatantly ignore the parking restrictions and almost laugh in the faces of the traffic wardens, the few times there are any."
