Halstead: Guys galore in the public gardens
4:00pm Saturday 2nd November 2013 in News
Halstead's Public Gardens will be taken over tomorrow by a ramshakle group of characters as town’s Guy Fawkes Trail returns for the fourth year.
The gardens will be filled with Guys galore between 10am and 3pm when entrants should collect their Guys.
Wendy Pickess, of the Halstead Residents’ Association, said: “If you want to do a Guy you can just turn up with one.
“The Guys can be anything, we have had some people put them on the swings and people have had them fishing in the past.
“The Guys are all hidden about so it can be a bit of a surprise when you find one and I hope it should be quite a spectacle.
All Guys should be labelled with the name of the entrant so they can receive a certificate. Children will also receive a sticker and lollipop.

The event can also be found on the Facebook page Halstead Guy Fawkes Trail.
