Coggeshall: Festive season kicks off at Marks Hall
3:00pm Friday 1st November 2013 in News
The Essex Christmas Country Show will be coming to Marks Hall and Arboretum this weekend.
A fantastic array of food, drink and shopping stalls as well as cookery demonstrations and talks will be taking over the Hall on both Saturday November 2 and Sunday 3.
The show, which aims to celebrate the best of what Christmas has to offer, will also include displays of country pursuits, wood turning and a family of Newfoundland dogs is due to pay a visit.
Outside in the grounds, a steam train will be on standby to take visitors to a Christmas wonderland, where Snow and Drift, the Hall’s reindeer all the way from Lapland, will be waiting.
Carol singers, bell ringers and big bands will put the final touches to this Christmas celebration, which will kick the festive season off with a bang.
The show will be open from 10.30am on Saturday until 5pm on Sunday, with the visitor centre and arboretum closing at 4.30pm.
Admission: Adults £7, Marks Hall Members £5, Children (4 - 16) £2.50.
