Halstead: Black stallion makes a stir in High Street
1:00pm Friday 27th September 2013 in News
A beautiful black stallion enchanted customers as it played the part of the famous Lloyds horse.
Owner Teri Osborne walked her Friesian stallion Sander up Halstead High Street at 8.45am on Monday, with the help of friend Jenni Gallop, for the relaunch of the Lloyds branch.
The huge stallion whinnied to customers as he walked up from Bridge Street and then patiently posed for photos with staff and customers, while attracting lots of attention from passers-by.
Mrs Osborne, 35, of Great Bardfield, said: “I was over the moon with his behaviour, only owning him for the last couple of months I had no idea how he would have behaved, so I was thrilled and very proud when he stood there with the buses pulling in and the cars and lorries driving by.
