Halstead: Mum's appeal to re-home Bandit
3:00pm Friday 27th September 2013 in News
A mum was left upset after an RSPCA officer suggested she put her dog down when she enquired about re-homing it.
Former Ramsey College pupil Torie Peacock, 28, made the enquiry after Bandit, a Yorkshire Terrier cross Jack Russell, went for her two-year-old son Tyler Humphrey.
An RSPCA spokesman said: “If they feel it’s a dog that’s dangerous, then it’s not a dog we can take on for re-homing."
