Halstead: Mum believes surgery should have offered more help
1:00pm Sunday 18th August 2013 in News
A mum believes a doctors’ surgery should have offered more help after her daughter cut her head open.
Gemma Everitt, 30, took her eldest daughter Sophia in The Elizabeth Courtauld Surgery last Thursday with a gaping cut on her forehead after falling while on a bus.
She claims staff at the Factory Lane West surgery in Halstead town centre were reluctant to offer first aid and has criticsed the lack of help.
Practice manager David Sheddon said anyone with a serious injury should always go straight to Accident and Emergency at hopsital.
