Students are celebrating after receiving this year’s A Level results.
Hedingham School, in Sible Hedingham, was said to be “delighted” today as out of the 80 students taking A Levels this year 98 per cent pass rate achieved a pass rate in their exams at grades A* to E.
Of those, 69 per cent of those students received grades at A* to C, slightly down from last years pass rate of 74 per cent.
Andrew Harvison, Deputy Headteacher, said: “The A Level pass rate was slightly down on last years, only by a couple of per cent, but the AS Level has gone up by about three per cent.
“We are delighted by the students success.”
He added that ten art students did particularly well, achieving five A*s, three As and two Cs between them.
Headteacher John Panayi was also thrilled by the performance of the students.
“We are very pleased to achieve a 98% pass rate at A level,” he said.
“The school continues to set high expectations for the students and this is again reflected in the results. I would like to thank the commitment and hard work demonstrated by all students, staff and parents.
“I wish all the students a successful future.”
