Halstead: Sainsbury's explores store expansion

Sainsbury's in Halstead High Street
Sainsbury's hopes to expand its Halstead store - by knocking into the postal depot next door.
A Royal Mail spokesman said it has no plans to move the delivery office and was not aware of Sainsbury’s plans.
And a spokesman for the retailer said: “Sainsbury's are exploring a number of opportunities to expand its Halstead town centre store.
"At present all options are at a very early stage and we would stress that a public consultation would take place if and when any serious proposal emerges.”
