Halstead: Travellers on housing site in Sibel Hedingham
Residents and businesses have spoken of their concern after a traveller family moved onto an empty factory site earmarked for housing.
Four caravans arrived on the former Premdor site in Swan Street, Sible Hedingham, on Sunday.
Traveller Lisa Smith, 21, insisted her family would be leaving on Wednesday night and heading to Clacton, but the caravans were still on the site when the Gazette went to press yesterday.
