Halstead: Mums learn routine to surprise dance school leader
A group of mums surprised the leader of a dance school by performing their own routine during a show starring their children.
Pendrill School of Dance held its showcase event at Ramsey College, in Colne Road, Halstead, last weekend.
As well as more than 100 children from across the Halstead, Braintree and Colchester areas, Sunday’s show had some special guests as a group of mothers took to the stage to dance.
Dance teacher Toni Edwards said: “As a school, the teachers decided to raise money for Cancer Research by having the mums do a dance as a surprise during the show."
