More than 86%?Why not use correct figures then.
7% get 2nd preference.86%+7%=93
%.Obviously someone at Essex County Council needs to go back to school.
Well done Essex County Council for,What?
Manipulated figures to make it look like you are serving the people of Essex.

If 86% got there first choice then this the figure, not 93% or 94%.
As I understand it all parents had to include a second choice, whether they want it or not, therefore these parents did not get their child into the school of their choice.

So X + 7 = 94,
Therefore X = 94 - 7 = 87 %
So "More" at County Hall is 1%. Fine, but how many people put the school of their choice second ?? It would be madness to do this. So ECC is manipulating the figures for its own glory rather than just being honest and saying 87% of Children have got places at their preferred Secondary school.
