Plans to convert a former water tower at a crematorium into a house have been re-submitted.
James Melia, 48, of Chappel, wants to extend an existing water tower at Three Counties Crematorium, in Halstead Road, High Garrett, to create a three-bedroom house.
The applicant has submitted a new application after a previous attempt was rejected by Braintree Council.
The water tower has not been used for its original purpose for 50 years, and currently houses telecommunications equipment.
