Braintree: Call for volunteers to get involved in their community

The Good for Essex team at Braintree
People are being encouraged to volunteer in their community.
Essex County Council's Good for Essex roadshow visited George Yard shopping centre in Braintree last week. Residents used a special photo booth, where they could record their skills and interests to be matched with a suitable placement.
They can share their pictures on the campaign Facebook page www.fb.com/goodforessex for a chance to win £100 worth of entertainment vouchers.
Those who could not attend can also take part in the competition or visit www.goodforessex.org to find volunteering opportunities.
