Halstead: Town council election on Thursday

An election for a new town councillor will be held on Thursday.
David Sharp,who represented Holy Trinity south ward, resigned before Christmas after moving near Chelmsford.
Barbara Carr, Greg Howlett and Jennie Sutton will stand in the election.
The polling station at Halstead Baptist Church in White Horse Avenue, Halstead, will be open between 7am and 10pm.
The election is expected to cost Halstead Town Council £3,000,which will be paid from its reserves.
