Halstead: Businesses step in to save community club

Members of the Thursday Club celebrate
Business people have helped save a club for elderly people from closure.
The Thursday Club meets in Sible Hedingham and has about 70 members.
But when the committee members became too unwell to run it any more last October, village agent Jayne Laken and the Hedingham Business Breakfast Club stepped in.
It held its first meeting of the year last week.
