Halstead: Teachers' hopes for Tour de Halstead cycle event
It is hoped a ‘Tour de Halstead’ cycle could be organised to capitalise on a growing interest in the sport.
The event, which could take place in June, would rival the town’s marathon road race, which takes place every May.
Ramsey College teacher Paul Taylor has been tasked with creating improved links between the school and the wider community.
And holding a family-friendly cycling event in the town is one idea he has proposed.
